The Kidds: Stranded on Lake Washington

We spent last Saturday out on gorgeous Lake Washington enjoying the HOT sun and the wonderful lake breeze on Maria and Eric's boat. Unfortunately, as soon as we made it out to the middle of the lake, the battery died and we were kinda... stuck. Luckily, Eric had a friend coming out to the lake a little later and they were able to bring us a new battery. The kids entertained themselves just playing all over the tube and jumping and swimming in the lake. And as you northwesterners know... that water ain't warm!

David was having so much fun until a big giant wave swallowed us up and then, as you can see, he was pretty ticked off for a while.

How sweet is little David with the little tear running down his cheek? Don't you wanna just hug and kiss him all over?!
