Dance Recital

Saturday was Audrey's big dance recital. This year she had three dances since she has been taking tap, ballet, and jazz. She has been so excited about it for weeks and couldn't wait all day to put on her ballet dress and get all dolled up. She did so great and she was so fantastic on stage. She was all smiles and full of spunk and you could tell she just loves to perform!

Here are a few pictures I took last Thursday of Audrey's last dance class of the year. They had a dress rehersal for her recital and it was the first time I got to see their numbers. The girls looked so cute and were so excited to finally be able to wear their recital attire.



Here are a few pictures we snapped right before we took off to Audrey's dance recital. Audrey was so happy that her good friends, Aubrey and Laurel, were able to come with us!

Both of Audrey's Grandma & Grandpa's were able to come watch her perform and she loved all the praise and attention she received after the recital was over. This really is such a special night for her. Afterwards, we all headed to Red Robin to celebrate and had a great time... The only thing missing from the evening was that dad was out of town and didn't get to see how fantastic she did. I know he would have been so proud!

Audrey has enjoyed doing dance again this year. She is currently doing tap and ballet. Here are a few snapshots I took of her after her dress rehersal for their dance recital. It was her very last dance class until it starts back up in the fall. She was in a very silly, hyper mood! I love seeing her so excited...

Dance Recital Night!

Audrey has been so excited for her dance recital for the last couple of weeks. Since this is her second one, she knew what to expect this time and she remembered how much she loved it last year. They performed at the Auburn Performing Arts Theatre and it was packed! All the dancers got lots of applause and Audrey did a great job! We're so proud of her.

We finished off the exciting evening with a stop by the brand new Red Robin in Covington! We were all starved after the two hour recital!
