Ethan's 8th Birthday Party

We had Ethan's birthday party yesterday! (His real birthday is today.) We celebrated with all his friends by playing Wii, X-Box, and Game Cube. We set the Wii up on the plasma, the x-box on a huge projector screen and the game cube was hooked up to another tv so that all the kids could be playing all at once. We ate pizza, cookies, ice cream, candy.... It was a blast and the kids had a lot of fun! (Thanks to James & Jamie for letting us borrow the Wii and thanks to Aunt Julie & Blake for letting us borrow the Game Cube.)
.
We started out the day by letting him open one of his presents a little early (Jason couldn't wait for all the guests to arrive)! Ethan had no clue that he was going to get an X-BOX 360 and he was so surprised when he opened it!

No way! X-BOX 360!!
Ethan is not a big fan of cake, so for the past three years we've celebrated his birthday with chocolate chip cookies and ice cream instead!
Ethan & Tommy putting together one of the new lego sets he got for his birthday!

Tommy had so much fun. He is still talking about it and now he thinks he needs a x-box 360 for his birthday. So I told him maybe when you are eight. He really wants a wii too.

Malcolm had so much fun ~ a gaming-heaven, for sure!! I was afraid to call and ask for him to come home, though. 1) I figured he'd be mad; and 2) I was worried that you had actually sent him home HOURS ago, and he'd been abducted as he walked across the street...I watch way too much CSI. ;)
