No more doctor visits!

David got his stitches out yesterday and to add insult to injury, he then had to get four shots! I was not looking forward to the visit but decided it would be better to get it all over with at once. He was quite upset when we didn't leave after being held down and having the stitches taken out, but the nurse who came back to give him his shots was great and did them really fast. He cried a little, but as soon as I told him that we were all done and we could get dressed and go "bye, bye" he got a smile on his face and couldn't get dressed fast enough.
The most frusterating part of the day was later that evening when we were putting him in his pajamas and realized that the doctor didn't take out all of the stitches. That's right!! He didn't take out the ones from his smaller cut on the inside of his leg. I could have kicked myself for not checking before we left. I felt so horrible that I had to bring him back in this morning to do it again. Luckily it was really fast and he was excited to get himself another sucker on the way out. He knew right where to go to get one! I am so glad to have that over! Plus... now he can take a bath again! Yipppeeee... he's been dying to jump in!
