I have been blessed with really good sleepers and I should not complain, but sometimes I can't wait to be done with naps!Don't get me wrong... I love when my little one takes a nap! It's awesome... fantastic... wonderful...
BUT... Sometimes they are just cramping our style!
Of course, the only one still napping at our house is David (and occasionally mom...) He is a good little napper. He usually naps from around 1pm to 4 or 5pm every day. However, on days when he does not get a nap he can barely make it through the day. And the next day... he's exhausted! This is perfect on days that I am home, but now Ethan and Audrey are getting older. We all want to go do things and have fun adventures, but little Davie's naps are slowing us down. O'well... I'm sure before I know it Davie will want to give up his naps and I'll be sad about that too! In fact, I know I will!
We'll see what the summer holds for us... maybe he'll start giving them up around this time anyway!.... yikes! I hope he really takes to "quiet time"! ;)

I love the nap days too. Although my children stopped napping at age 2! Is it okay that mom and dad still need sunday naps?
those pictures are so cute!! I am so happy that Dana-doo re-adopted the naps. I am definitely not ready to give them up. :)
Wow. I wish Catie would nap that long. I'm lucky if I get 2 hours out of her.
Those are some long naps! I feel your pain. But I go from one napping baby to a napping toddler back to a napping baby. It is nap time at my house from 10:30-4:30. Most days I LOVE the naps but somedays you just want to go out!
I love nap time, at least for right now. I'm sure if I added another kid to the mix it would be even more hard. He sure is a sweet little sleeper. Love his pics.
