A few days ago I was in our den and I heard David figure out how to open up our back sliding door all by himself. I went and checked on him and he was just having fun opening the door and closing it. Hey! Whatever keeps him entertained, right?... and since I could hear him opening and closing the door I knew that he was fine.
After a while I realized that it was pretty quiet so I went to go check on him and I found him playing with the toys from our sandbox. Unfortunately, he wasn't playing with them in the sandbox, he was playing with them inside... on our sofa! The sofa and carpet were full of sand and soaked! I wish I would have gotten a picture of the trail of sand from the back door to the family room, but I did take a cute one of him playing with his new found trucks! He was so happy and proud that I had to take a picture!

all I can say is that you are a MUCH better and more loving and patient and forgiving and kind mother than I would have been.
--he definitely looks PROUD, doesn't he? You need a Charlie Bar...
Leave it to good old Davie. He is so cute in the picture. I probably would have smiled too!
Tsk tsk Davie! You are lucky you're cute! What a stinker!
Ditto to Melissa's comments. I probably would have thought to take a picture after I got upset and cleaned it up!! :)
What a cutie!
Just when you think they are safely keeping themselves entertained, huh! I have a feeling Addie will be drawing all over the furniture one of these days. How can you be mad (for too long) when they're so cute though :)
