Priest/Laurel Prom

Last weekend Jason and I were asked to be the photographer for the Priest/Laurel Prom for our stake. It's actually a multi-stake activity that includes Maple Valley, Kent, Renton, and Auburn and about 350 kids showed up!

Our stake put a lot of time and energy into this activity and it turned out wonderful. The kids were fed a three course meal on china, the gym was unrecognizeable... it was amazing, and the desserts were to die for!

We did our best with what we had... we had to take the pictures in the foyer and so we did not have very good lighting, and the ceilings were low so it was hard to get group shots but we were happy with how they turned out for the most part. However, if we ever have to do something like this again, we have definately learned a lot and will hopefully remember all the do's and don'ts!

Also!! Thank you to Melissa & Julie who helped that night by printing all the pictures, and organizing all the kids! It was fun!

Great job! I agree, why blur the faces? are you afraid of identity theft? you should have had them sign waivers for you to post the pics on your blog. ;) j/k

On another note, it is nice to see that the girls all have modest dresses on. A great sight to see. Can't say the girls in my ward would have modest dresses, they don't even dress modestly for church. Don't know why they think the mini skirt is appropriate, nor their parents.
