Last night was Ethan's first Pinewood Derby! Dad and Ethan worked hard cutting, painting, and designing his car. He had weigh-in an hour before and was very close. We had to add a small weight to the bottom to make it perfect! Unfortunately, he didn't win any races, but he was just thrilled to not come in last! (Well... except for once.) Next year we're thinking about a more sleaker design because we noticed that was the design of most of the winners!

It was FUN, wasn't it? I loved the excitement!! Can't wait for Jason and Doug ~ I mean Ethan and Malcolm to go head-to-head next year! ;)
Actually, I don't think they will...Ethan will be a Bear and Malcolm will still be a Wolf...
So Cool. Tommy just can't wait until he is in scouts. Tommy loved the design of Ethans car.
Joey had so much fun in Cub scouts! I have to drag him to regular scouts now! I miss those fun days. The car looks great by the way! Love the gun on top!

You can tell Jason helped design the car...."Call of Duty" comes to mind when I see it.
That car is awesome! I am so glad he had fun.
