More pictures from "the ditch"

I LOVE love LOVE that the sun is out again... or at least that my lawn is dry enough to mow. It was so tall that about every two to three strips, I'd have to empty the bag. It was bad! After mowing the lawn (front only... I was too pooped to tackle the back!), David looked quite bored sitting on the curb all by himself (Dana!? Where are you?), so Audrey and I took David on our walk through the ditch to look at all the wild flowers. He had a lot of fun down there!... although, I hope he doesn't decide to venture down there by himself. Yikes!

Right before we hopped the fence to our backyard we noticed a little bird's nest in a big bush. We can't tell if it's still being used or if it's been abandoned. We're going to keep an eye on it to see. There was nothing inside though...

The ditch ends right behind the fence of our backyard so we just hopped it again, played on the swing set for a bit, and then coaxed David in the house with a promise of a chocolate treat!


Now, don't think that you're done looking at my pictures from the ditch. I'm going to wrangle up Ethan at some point to venture down there to smell the flowers! I'm sure he'll be really into it! ;)
