Wild Flower Scavenger Hunt

On Sunday afternoon Audrey and I went on a photoshoot nature hunt for
wiLd fLowers!

We have what we have come to call "the ditch" right behind our house. It's kind of between us and the 18th fairway of the golf course, and we decided this would be the perfect place to find a bunch of pretty flowers. We found a lot of cool ones that Audrey was very excited about! Here are some of our favorites!

purple flowers...

pink flowers...

yellow flowers...

white flowers...

and no nature hunt is complete without the "cotton ball dandilion weed"!

We had so much fun on our walk, we jumped the fence into our backyard and ran in the house to grab the boys to come on another walk with us! This time we went to another one of our new favorite places!... a construction of a new development up the street that has a whole bunch of really big tractors!
.
A walk to see the tractors
The kids have so much fun playing on these tractors, but of course, David gets the most excited!

Don't you just love Sundays?

I love that Audrey will do girly stuff like go on a flower hunt and then pose for pictures- she looks too cute! The new finish you put on your pictures is SO great, they look so classy!

so fun! I didn't even notice that it ever stopped raining on Sunday. I hope you had as much fun as it looks like you had! :)

PS -- what is the magic potion recipe that will make our kids stop growing up????

Wow. Your photography always amazes me. Love the one of Jason in the scoop of the construction thingy....(can you tell I am WAY out of my league here?). I love checking your blog for photo tips and all the cool stuff you have on the side! (Like the weather thing!) We miss you guys.
