Wild Waves!

Sunday evening we got a call from Kevin wondering if Audrey would like to go to Wild Waves with her cousins, Kinzi and Maddi, on Monday!... DUH!... OF COURSE she would! It sounded like so much fun that Jason took the day off and we all decided to join them! I even called Maria, Monday morning to be exact, and talked her into dropping everything and coming with us after swim lessons! I just love my sister... she's willing to do anything with a moments notice!

The kids had SO.MUCH.FUN! The ate up every last minute of it. The older kids spent most of the time at the water park, while the younger ones spent most of the time over at the rides. Jason and Kevin pretty much hung out with the older crew while Maria and I followed David and Blake from ride to ride. I'm so glad we decided to go at the last minute. I think this has been the highlight of my kids' summer so far!

David and Blake went on this little car ride so many times we lost count. It was an awesome day because it wasn't crowded at all. The kids pretty much had the rides mostly to themselves... and never had to wait in line. (Which is so nice with a couple of two year olds who don't understand the phrase... "just a minute...")

Audrey, Maddi, and Kinzi just about ready to ride the Lumberjacks Falls! Audrey loves any opportunity to get wet... for example... (see photo below)

Another one of David and Blakes favorite rides that they went on a lot!

Well... I think it's obvious at this point that I had the camera for most of the day so there are plenty of pictures of the little guys having fun!

The boys caught up with us and we were able to snap a couple of pictures of them! Here they are enjoying the famous ferris wheel.

An excited Ethan trying to decide what ride to go on next! hmmmm....

....a roller coaster, of course! This picture cracks me up!

The little ones saw the "big boys" go on the little roller coaster and they wanted to try it out too!

I thought David was terrified on this ride until it stopped and he started crying... "again!, again!"

"Weeeeeeeee!....."

Ethan thought it would be fun to go on a few little kid rides with David....

I guess he realized it wasn't quite as fun as he imagined.

I only saw Audrey a few times the whole day. She spent most of the time with her cousins and loved every minute of it!

Again... I can't stress enough how much the boys rode this ride!

Water Park!!!! The boys did enjoy some time at the water park! Why is it they make the water soooooooooo cold in the kiddie area?! The boys didn't seem to care though!

We spotted the girls again!! Here they are going down one of the smaller water slides. Audrey and Kinzi were quite the dare devils though and attempted a lot of the bigger faster ones too!... it was funny though because they would scream all the way down!

The kids had a great time and were exhausted by the end of the day. They went on so many slides, rides, tubes, and still didn't get to do everything!... I guess we'll have to go back again!

You did pick a good day. I don't see another kid in sight in most of those pictures! And I don't understand the FREEZING cold water in the kiddie land either. Looks like fun!
