We had so much fun visiting the Halls in Boise this summer! SO.MUCH.FUN! To make it that much better, the Munks were there too! Ethan would never have spoken to us again if we didn't make it out to visit his favorite cousin, Garrett! Some of the best times we had were just hanging at the Halls house... it's practically a vacation spot in inself with all their gorgeous property, motorcycles, 4-wheelers, huge play structure, and a little mini canal, as I like to think of it. Here are some pics of the kids just having fun!

The Halls aquired themselves five cows... here's David getting a look at one of them.

Water Parks
We played in the water A LOT while we were visiting. We went to Roaring Springs (if you've ever driven through Boise, then you've probably seen it from the freeway!) and the day before that we also went to a great little pool that also had one big giant water slide! The kids had a blast at both and to say that we wore them out is an understatment at best!
This ride was called "The Avalanche" and it was probably the funnest and scariest one there! I think almost everyone went on it at least once... well, at least everyone tall enough. Ethan loved this one!

One thing we definately learned this trip is that David LOVES waterslides! He's already screaming, again! again! before he's even done! He went on this slide a lot.

Dallin just looking cool, as always...
Ethan getting hammered in the big wave pool...
This was the cool waterslide at the other pool Kristin took us to. It was David's first attempt at a "big" waterslide and he loved it so much. I couldn't keep count of how many times he did it... All the kids loved it and the younger kids loved going down together. They were a hoot to watch!

Day on the boat
So the Halls were nice enough to take us all out on their boat one day... even Allan took the day off. The older boys (Dallin, Austin, Garrett, Ethan, and Conner) went earlier in the morning so they could get some more time in and do some wake boarding was well. The rest of us caught up with them in the afternoon! David LOVED the boat and hated whenever he had to get out! Audrey was crazy in the tube and welcomed any chance of being thrown off!
Eagle Island
We also visited Eagle Island again this year and it was SO HOT!! My favorite memory of the day was when the kids decided to bury James in the sand. They covered him completely (except for his head, of course!) They were even kind enough to offer him a drink and sunglasses while he waited for them to finish... I don't know how he could stand it!
Here's a pic of everyone just standing around admiring their good work.

It was very hard to leave this year... Audrey had been dreading the thought for the last few days. They got teary eyed as we said our goodbyes... it's always hard to leave.PS... Hopefully I won't have anymore l-o-n-g posts like this for a while. Thanks for getting through it! ;)

YOu r family vacation this year was amazing! First, Idaho Falls, then Boise ! What great pictures! It's great that the Hall's have enough room for all the families to come visit! The thought of being completely buried under the sand makes me psycho! Did it take them long to get him uncovered?
haha that picture of David in the hat was cute, Davids a little gangster... lol
What a fun trip! Loved all the pictures, especially the water slide ones. What a great way to end the summer before school starts back up.
