New York

Why is it that all of Jason's business trips seem more like a dream vacation than work? We both decided next time he goes away on business that I'm going with him. He had lots of free time on this trip and said it just isn't as fun when you're by yourself. He was actually in New York on September 11th so he went out to take pictures of the anniversary. Here are a few of my favorite pictures he took...

Taken from on "Top of The Rock"

Brooklyn Bridge
Statue of Liberty
Grand Central

Just thought it was funny that this guy is hot roddin with a group of cops watching...
Ed Sullivan Theatre
St. Patrick's Cathedral
**Updated: We just added the following images that we were playing with Sunday night... We've been playing with a new HDR effect where you combine five photos taken at different exposure levels to give you a cool effect. It took a bunch of tries... we're just learning, but we thought these looked kind of cool!

Time Square

Time Warner Center

Jason said he felt like quite the amateur with his camera equipment and crap tripod. There were so many photographers everywhere with some crazy equipment! O'well... I thought he got tons of cool shots! I've never been to NY and I hope I get the chance soon!

How cool that he got to be there during 9-11! I think you could spend weeks in NYC and not see everything cool there is to see! Absolutely great pictures!

great pictures -- but my favorite is Grand Central Station!

It totally makes me "homesick" and I hope we get to go sooner than later. It would be fun (and a TON of work) if we took our families together! ;)

I LOVE NYC! I've been several times. Some of our friends were there on 9/11 this year.

Those photos are beyond amazing. Totally professional!

I have to agree with Melissa, the Grand Central shot really captures it. We used to do live shots from that balcony, great back drop for a transit story.
