Well... we actually made it!... barely!! Monday night we headed down to Mosby Brothers Farms to pick out pumpkins to carve. My kids LOVE to go to the pumpkin patch and I was afraid that we weren't going to make it this year, but we made it just in the nick of time. We ran around like crazy people searching for pumpkins and trying to get the kids to humor mom so she could snap a few pics before closing time.
The farm closes at dusk and the sun was already setting as we were still driving down the freeway. Luckily we still had about 30 minutes or so to hang out.... not much time, but enough to find three really good pumpkins and one baby pumpkin for Audrey!
Audrey always wants to have a baby pumpkin too!... if you know Audrey, you know she loves anything little!

David finally found a pumpkin he could actually pick up!
Since we arrived so late, we didn't get to actually go on the hay ride, but the kids were just so excited about picking a pumpkin, they didn't seem to care. David was just thrilled to be able to hang out on this one for a while!

What beautiful scenery and dusk seems to bring out the bright colors even more. And you have trained your kids well as far as the camera is concerned. As usual they are as cute as can be.
Love going to the pumpkin patch! A great memory for the little ones. Although we seem to have old pictures of the pumpkins with snow all around them from when we lived up north in Syracuse!
Did you use a template for the photo edges?
i wish we'd gone with YOU!!! We had fun, too...I still need to get THE picture of Dana...what am I going to DO?! aaaaarrrgghghhg $%*&@#! traditions.
Fun! I so need to get the girls down there TODAY and get some carving pumpkins! Would you believe I have not decorated one little bit for Halloween? I haven't really been into the spirit this year, which is so unlike me!
