Finally!!!

We've been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for the anticipated snow to hit and have been pacing back and forth watching the news while everyone else in the state seemed to be getting hammered by snow while we got nothing... nada. It was driving me crazy... just ask anyone who spoke to me the last few days. Well finally yesterday afternoon we got some more snow! It was so pretty and we couldn't wait to get outside to play in it. We haven't got nearly as much as most of the surrounding areas, but I'm just thankful we got something.
David is obsessed now with pulling the sled up and down the street. He would much rather pull the sled than be the occupant... although he loves it both ways. He especially loves sledding fast down the big hills.

Audrey Lou enjoying life, as usual!

Ethan was so sweet and pulled the little ones on the sled.

Not sure about this one... maybe Ethan was hoping for enough snow to bury himself in!

I think one reason we love the snow so much around here is because we don't get it all winter long. We get a few good days (if we're lucky) and then it goes away. It also shuts the city down because we are in no way prepared for it... we probably own about two snow plows per county. I love that feeling of being snowed in and I love that it feels like an adventure every time you go somewhere. I do understand that it would get old real quick if it were around all winter long though. Good thing we live at the bottom of the mountain so we can jot up there whenever we feel the need for snow! But for now... I'm lovin' it! But I am definately NOT looking forward to the crazy wind storm coming our way. Yikes.

That looks like such fun. Your kids really enjoy the snow. Laughed at the picture of Davie, smiled and Audrey's and Ethan's. Personally, I'm ready for the snow to be gone.

I love how you can see the snow falling in the pictures. You do a great job of capturing your kids personality. I love the snow, but I am done now!
