Longest days of the year

June 21st is the longest day of the year! (Trust me... I googled it.) And this means that whether it is a weekend or a school night, you will find our street hopping until the sun goes down... and living in the northwest, that doesn't happen until 9:30ish. I swear the kids get some sort of second wind come around 7:30 and could just play all night long. We typically have been having dinner around seven thirty or eight and then they run outside for some more play time until around nine, and then they head in for baths and on a good night we get them in bed by ten. It's crazy since school doesn't get out for another week and a half. But boy do they have FUN!

"Davie... are you getting tired?"... "What?! Who me? Heck no!"

What would we do without the power wheels!

Oh yeah... I'm cool.

Nerf guns have been big in the neighborhood as of late. Watch out or you may get one in the back.

Love Justin's eyes peaking over the windshield. So cute!

Going through the car wash!

So much fun and summer hasn't even started yet. Pace yourselves kids... we've got some long days ahead of us. Oh!... and if you look closely, you'll notice a house for sale on our street. Someone come and buy it because this is the best street ever!

Wish we could buy it. I need to be closer to some grandkids! The pictures are so fun. I hope it doesn't rain the first week the kids are out of school.

those pictures are SO much fun. Good thing we already live there!

And, for the record, there are actually THREE houses on our street for sale...but you can't buy any of them unless you have an 11-year old daughter. ;)

What a cool looking neighborhood! I instantly thought "northwest" as I was eyeing your trees with envy greener than those pine needles! We lived out in Renton for a short spell as newlyweds on none other than "lake desire", no joke! These pics are so energetic and full of summer fun, I love the simple moments of hanging on your street! Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such uplifting comments, I too still wonder where I went wrong on the silhouette, maybe the judge was a purest and I had clearly edited out the frame of the horse, who knows;)

Great pictures. They are so sweet and fun. I actually would definitely come and buy a house on your street. Looks like so much fun.
Here in Germany you don't see any kids on the street playing anymore. So sad, but true.

I am sorry I still have an attachment to the house. I can't beleive they are selling it. We did many upgrades. New carpet, flooring, light fixtures, new sink and faucet. We wern't supposed too but oh well. It is just hard to see it for sale. And we could have afforded the price. I just found out today and was a little shocked.

The longest day of the year! I will look forward to it and do a fun blog entry for it. Our neighborhood has hardly any kids in it. I miss that! Looks like so much fun.

Summer nights are so much fun. When does kick the can start? That game probably isn't even played still. Enjoy your summer.
