Yesterday we went to the King County Fair out in Enumclaw. The last time we went to this fair was back in 2003, when Ethan was only four and Audrey was just a baby. It's a small fair that, in my opinion, is the perfect size to take three young kids by yourself. My kids have been so great this summer and I've really enjoyed having them around, so I thought it would be fun to surprise them with a trip to the fair complete with a few rides. (Not too many though... because they are so stinkin expensive!)
David was so funny on the dragon roller coaster. He was just barely tall enough to ride and when he got off I asked him if he had fun and he said... "yeah, it was fun!" And then I asked him if he wanted to do it again and he answered, "Nooooo. It was very scary." So cute.

David just loved this silly boat ride so much that he just
had to do it again!

Ethan and Audrey are becoming quite the little daredevils. I was so surprised when they both started begging to go on this ride. Audrey was just barely tall enough and they were the only ones riding it. I was so mad when they chose to sit in the
back row so I couldn't get any pictures. Those little tirds! The only pic I got of them was getting
off the ride. They loved it and wanted to do it again, but unfortunately we didn't have enough tickets.

The kids really loved seeing all the animal exhibits. Here are just a few of the animals we got to see. We all fell in love with the cute little piglets. David especially loved them and didn't want to leave to see any of the other animals.

And even though the animals were cute and fun, David really perked up when he saw the big line of tractors. He was a little disappointed though when I told him that we couldn't ride them.

We had a lot of fun and topped it off with slushies on the way home. It was a great way to spend the day waiting for dad to get home from his trip!

great pictures, Becca!! My favorite, though, is the Goat Love...that Momma is SMILING!! I so want to take my kids down there today...but I think we'll end up at Lake Wilderness for the Kids' Fair instead. :)
Looks like so much fun. Love all the pictures. I can't believe they went on that ride, they are crazy little dare devils.
Those kids are brave... Jaylee and I had to have that same ride STOPPED last summer b/c we were BOTH so scared!!! Looks like a fun time... are there rides at the beach we're going to?!?
What fun!!
Looks like so much fun. I love the fair, especially the animals. Great pics. Wow, the kids are dare devils. They need to come down here so they can go to Six Flags.
AAAhhhhh.... oh, I lurve the piggy! Look at those ears.. oh my gosh! All of the pics are great, but I have a soft spot in my heart for pigs, especially piglets (perhaps I read too much Pooh as a a child?) You have such talent.. oh my!
The beauty of your photos never ceases to amaze me. You are the best parents ever for letting Ethan get a motorcycle! Charlie has begged us ever since his cousin got one. We've used the excuse of where on Earth would he ride it, but I can see that excuse won't last much longer!
