Today was Davie's very first day of preschool. He was very excited all morning to go see Mrs. Cloud and to start preschool. He kept asking me if it was time and I had to keep reminding him that it wasn't time to leave until after lunch. When it was finally time to go he was more than excited to put on his backpack and go outside and pose for a few pictures first. Oh my word... he is CUTE.

He did really good when I dropped him off. After walking around a little and checking out the little hampsters, I told him that I was going to go and he just said... "Okay. Bye Mom." When I came back to pick him up he was all smiles until he realized it was time to go and then he was sad because he wanted to stay. It helped when I told him we get to come back again soon. It was a great first day. Here is his first preschool painting. An apple for the letter "A".

I'm very glad that the week prior Mrs. Cloud arranged a little picnic in the park with the class so that they could meet her and some of their new classmates. I think this helped a lot. He was quite shy of Mrs. Cloud at first and didn't want to leave my side, but by the end of the afternoon he was quite talkative with his new teacher.
Eating lunch with his new preschool teacher.
Playing with his new friends.

Wow! My baby is growing up. I say this about every age, but I just wish I could freeze time for a while because I'm loving this time with all three.

Way Way Way too cute!! I love the name "Mrs. Cloud" too, she sounds so friendly!
what a cutie!!! I am glad that he did so well!!! Love his apple painting...
oh man. I am sooooo behind! Such cute pictures!!
He is a stud! Love the hair. Looks like fun. I worry I'll be an emotional mess when it comes time for Tru to start preschool.
Oh, I am glad it went so well for him. At this age, it's usually great or totally traumatic!!! Hope you can find something to do in all your spare time, haha. How oftern does he go?
I saw her at the park on a different day with a different group of kids. Jenna and I were there while Catie was in school. How funny!
He looks so big, but it's just hard to believe he's old enough for preschool. Glad he had a good day!
He is seriously one of the cutest kids ever! Hard to believe how fast life speeds by, and then before you know it, they're going to school, easily saying goodbye, not needing us in the same ways anymore. Shoot, now I'm crying. Great post.
So many things to say to you. #1. I am so impressed with your blog and photography site that I am nearly speachless. Do you have a button for us? I would love to post you. #2. Wish you were with us in preschool, I just know Tuck would love getting to know Davey better. #3. Congrats on all of those photography awards. Again, I am SO SO SO impressed. That shoe picture should have taken 1st place!
I love that top picture. Just look at his eyes. His spiked hair makes me smile. And I feel so emotional about him going to preschool. He just can't be that old, yet.
Oh, he is SO adorable. I love his hair!
I totally get the "freeze time" feeling. I feel the same way about our 4.
When did these babies of ours grow up?
And yes, your photos are beautiful, stunning etc...I really need to work on my skills.
Where do you get the photos printed? I need 3 odd shaped pictures printed and I can't find any place to do it (11.5 x 11.5).
When did he grow up? And how do you get your kids to pose like this. Cute pics.
What a sweet boy! Are you enjoying the time you get with all three in school??
