The train tracks

Recently we've been spending quite a bit of time here at these railroad tracks that we found after doing some senior pictures for an old friend. Her best friend lives near here and showed us how to find it back through the woods. It's a little off the beaten path... you have to walk through a wooded area, cross over a rotten tree stump, and jump a little stream, but it was worth it because it makes for a fun place to take photos. On our last two trips out here to do pictures, David came with us and was so excited to see the train tracks and the old abandoned open box cars. His mouth dropped open when he first saw them. And... as you can see he had a lot of fun climbing up on them too. It was a fun adventure for a three year old boy!

Wow, those are old. I grew up near railroad tracks when I lived in Northern Idaho and these bring back memories. How fun for David.

Cute! He looks just like Ethan in these pictures. I know I keep saying that. I'm sure I sound like a broken record. But he does!

you always find the greatest places to take pictures! I had some friends take their engagement photos at some railroad tracks and they turned out so funky and cool! love the idea!
