On Saturday, David was invited to a preschool friend's birthday party at the Seattle Children's Museum. It has been so long since we have been here. We brought Ethan and Audrey a few times when they were little, but David has never been. Recently when we were at the foodcourt at the Seattle Center, David looked down and saw the museum and really wanted to go so it was exciting for him and it made it even more fun because we went with his friend, Dana, and we brought Audrey and Aubrey along with us as well. They loved it too and nobody wanted to leave... except for me and Melissa! :) Unfortunately, since it was a rainy Saturday, the museum was really crowded. But this only bugs me... my kids could care less. I'm just not one for crowds, but I don't think David even noticed.

David loved all the exhibits and definately could have stayed and looked at them for much longer! It was hard keeping up with him! His favorites, of course, were the cars, buses, and fire truck you can climb in... and he sure did look cute in his little fireman hat and coat! He loved all the mock stores and houses, and climbing through the caves.

I thought that the arts and crafts would be one exhibit that David would easily pass up, but he really liked it and was very excited to take home his painting and the little playdough caterpillar that we made.

I think we need to make another trip here soon... but hopefully we'll pick a much less busy day!

Cute pictures! I also hate the crowds at Children's Museums. I always make sure to be there when it first opens on a weekday, then it's not too bad.
P.S. Thinking of a vacation to Oregon's Coast. Where should we stay? Email me or facebook me.
LOVE the pic of him painting!! I can see he has some of the same mannerisms as Ethan, just from these pix... how precious!!!
I,m not one for crowds either, but it looks like it was loads of fun for David! I love going to museums:)
