Maple Valley Days

The kids were excited to head over to Maple Valley Days after school on Friday to take advantage of their $10 bracelet day. They loved going with their cousins and hanging with the Dillons! And we were all pretty excited when Dad showed up to join us. We all went on waaaay too many rides. Ethan got totally sick after overdoing it on all the spinning rides and I was on the verge of getting sick by the end of the night too! Audrey couldn't get enough and could probably go on them all night long. David was cute this year because he liked going on some of the bigger rides.

Starting out small... after a while the "little kid" rides just weren't enough for David!

Audrey being very patient until I could go on some bigger rides with her!

Other than the little train that drives through the park, this was probably David's favorite ride. After going on it too many times, Doug saved the day by giving me a break and taking the little ones on a few rides!

I really do LOVE going on rides! One of my favorite things....

The Gravitron is the kids' favorite ride! They went on it too many times to count. After going on it once, I concluded that was enough for me!

Ethan talked Malcolm into going on the Skymaster with him and when he got off he said it was super scary and that he screamed like a little girl. When I asked them if they'd go on it again, they both agreed that they would! Funny boys.

Both Audrey and Aubrey won a gold fish. Unfortunately Audrey's died the next day... she wasn't too sad about it though since we still have trusty ole' Spike at home.

Ethan has decided he probably has dad's stomach more than moms. He was so naseous at one point that he had to lay in the grass for about 30 minutes. He was pretty miserable, but after a while he was feeling a little better and had to go try out a few more rides... only to get sick again! Can't wait till next year!

Oh we love Seattle. If Jason ever hears of any great industry jobs for Kent send them along! Seriously.

WOW! This sounds like so much fun. We drove by our Snohomish Days festival and the rides looked way too rickety for us to dare try. Sounds like a wonderful evening, and you got some terrific photos.

Thanks for your compliment about my carnival pictures, but I don't know what you are talking about because your pictures are totally fun! I look forward to being able to take Immi on more than just a few of the kiddie rides. Oh and we deal with vertigo too. Imogen threw up yesterday after playing at a playground. We don't even enjoy long car drives any more...
