Another monkey day

When David came home from school yesterday with monkey he told me... "Guess what mom?! We get to have another monkey day." So cute. He loves when his preschool monkey gets to come home for a visit because he thinks that means that we get to spend a special day together... so how can I disappoint?

Today we took monkey to the park and I could go on and on about what a gorgeous day it was today! It was sunny and warm and extremely breezy... Monkey almost blew away from us a few times! The park was loads of fun. The ducks kept following us everywhere. They would get so close that we thought we might trip over them if we weren't careful. We found a giant stick to play with and if you ask David it was the highlight of the day. Seriously. And then we went to lunch and came home and jumped on the trampoline together.

I just love having my little buddy home with me this year and getting to spend time with him. I think that when he gets older I may have to buy him another monkey and pull it out whenever I want him to play with me!
