The traditional last day of school neighborhood picture. What a great group of kids!
Today was a big day because it was Ethan's last day of elementary school. I kept asking him all week if he was even a little bit sad and he was always pretty adament that he is not. Maybe it will hit him later... or maybe it's just me. I had a talk with him before school to warn him that I was going to be at the bus stop taking pictures, in which he replied with a groan, but I told him that as his mother, he owed it to me to let me take a few picture of this milestone and that some day he would thank me for it. He was a pretty good sport and even posed in the graduation cap for me. My guilt trreatment must have been a good one. Aunt Julie was here to help me embarrass the poor kid too!
After all the pictures (which my kids are having less and less patience for), we headed back to my place for our traditional neighborhood end of school pizza party. The kids had a good time and I can't believe that SUMMER IS HERE!

What fun traditions Becca! I truly look forward to starting up traditions like this when our kids are older. next year Truman will be our preschool grad, and i'm already sad about it. I can only imagine how sad i'd be when he moves on from elementary school. Hard to see them grow up and experience life firsthand, and you can't be there with them every single step of the way.
I felt a little sad reading this too! These picture/posts will be pricelsss when they are older!
