We started out our summer this year by heading up to Island Park to the Munk Family cabin again and this year the Halls joined us and we spent the Fourth of July there! What a blast! The Halls brought their boat, so we had two boats, two jet skis, two canoes, and plenty of dirt bikes. What an amazing time. Going through all these pictures made me want to jump in my truck and head back.
Uncle Alan was super awesome to spend so much time, every day, pulling the kids around on tubes and skis. Anytime the boat went out, David wanted to be in it. He loves riding in that boat!
First night, Dallin was the only one daring enough to jump in to ski. It was a tad cold, if you can't tell.
I love playing with my camera settings at sunset to change the feel of evey pic. So pretty.
Jason brought the GoPro with us so we pretty much video taped EVERYTHING. The funniest videos were the ones done by the kids.
Cracking up every time Dallin crashed.
The second day we were there, the clouds came in, the temperature dropped, and it rained on us for half the day. The kids stayed busy hanging inside playing card games, pool, watching videos, and riding dirt bikes. After a bit, the girls didn't care that it was wet and cold and convinced Allan to take them tubing. They are crazy!! It was SO cold. On a positive note... the water felt much warmer.
Allan... such a trooper.
BEWARE: Lots and lots of tubing pictures. I was having waaaaay too much fun looking through all of them and I know my family will love looking at them...
Ugly vacation homes on the lake.Who would want to own one of those?
Don't they look like they're having so much fun? They really do love it. They want to go again, and again, and again. Freaks.
Trying to warm up!
They made a game of trying to get some of the balloons left by the "4th of July" boat parade. (I'll blog about the 4th soon!)
...and there she goes!
Boys having fun on the jet ski's!
Nice Dallin....
Thankfully, the next day the sun was back so we spent most of our time playing in the lake.
And more tubing...
Don't care if it's blurry... it still cracks me up!
This is David, waiting for the boat to come so he can ride again.
Big smiles now that he's on the boat!
And if the boys weren't on the lake, they were off dirt bike riding. The funniest story is when Ethan and Garrett went off riding on some trails alone and accidentaly came accross a moose and her baby. The way-too-close-for-comfort moose started off in their direct and the boys dropped their bikes so fast and just ran for it! They were eventually picked up by someone who drove them back to the cabin. We had to go back out and find their bikes. They were pretty freaked out but now that we know they're safe we can laugh at them!
The little boys took quite a few rides too. David felt pretty cool going on his one trails.

So many great memories. The cousins just loved being together. They all get along so well and we just wish we had more time! More pictures from our Idaho Fourth of July to come!
