Woodland Park Zoo

Another family favorite activity in the summer is visiting the zoo. You can never be too old for the zoo and since Jamie bought our family a season pass to both the Woodland Park Zoo and Point Defiance, we enjoyed visiting both a few times. This visit we went with the Mendenhalls, which made it even more fun! I can't remember why Ethan could come with us, since it was so long ago, but we definately missed him.

First stop: Petting Zoo...

Which then led us to a bunch of icky creepy crawly things....
Next up, we found the birds and they were so awesome, they almost seem unreal.
One of the kids favorite is always the reptiles...
By the end of the day, everone just wanted to see the monkeys, and gorillas, and orangutans, but with the construction going on we could hear them, but couldn't find them.... We bumped into the giraffes along the way.

Finally, we broke down and busted out the maps and found our way there! :)
By the end of the day we were definately pooped, but the kids always have enough energy to play...
