Pacific Science Center

Wednesday we visited the Pacific Science Center with Aunt Julie and cousins, Hannah, Meagan, and Blake. Cindy Sams and her boys Ethan and Andrew joined us too! It was a lot of fun... the kids had a great time and played there until almost closing. I did notice, however, that without Jason there to help out it was much harder to take fun pictures. Most of the pictures I captured were of David since Ethan and Audrey were off having fun with the older kids. Here are some of my favorite shots of the day...

David in the Butterfly Exhibit. He was amazed by all the big butterflies everywhere. I wish I would have captured the look on David's face when a big blue butterfly landed right on his shoulder. It was hilarious... The only catasrophe was when he backed up and accidently stepped on a butterfly on the ground right in front of a horrified crowd of people. Let's just say we then made a quick exit from the butterfly room.

Audrey just wanted to hang out with the "big" girls all day and they were kind enough to let her be part of their group.

David playing in the toddler area with Andrew. Unfortunately I didn't do a good job of rolling up his sleeves so they were soaked, but he didn't seem to notice... he was too busy running from one place to another.

There are only about 50 shots of David playing in the little red car. It's where he spent most of his time when we were in the toddler area.

Playing with big brother, Ethan.

Weee....

Another favorite attraction for David was this big tractor shovel and the robot next to it (not pictured). We also spent a lot of time digging up the rocks and dumping them.

Thirsy!!

Cotton Candy!!!

They weren't quite big enough to get the wheel rolling by themselves so they had work together.
Playing by the fountain while we were waiting for our truck to be returned by the valet.

Making a wish...

Unlike little miss Emily, a big day out and about is enough to poop out little David. He was out before we even hit I-5. And the rest of the kids fell asleep shortly after!

Well that's totally unfair. I don't know how I got stuck with the non-sleepers. :-P

Another fun day! One of these times you could invite the other grandma and I go to and we would help you with the kids. (Kidds!)

again -- awesome pictures. The butterfly reminds me of the time I took Bradley and he TOTALLY stomped on one (quite proudly, might I add) as soon as we walked in. I was sooo mortified...i thought for sure they'd take away our membership. :(
