The whole family went to the zoo on Monday and it turned out to be a perfect day. The weather was beautiful! The kids were in great moods! The animals were out and ready to show off! Our favorite animal pictures of the day!

I don't think I've ever realized (that is until I had kids) how many great tees there are to climb at the zoo. The kids looooved climbing them.
David trying to get a better look at the turkey vulture. The look in the first picture is definately a "am I going to get away with this look?"!
Love this shot because if you look closely David is staring right into the face of this gorilla! He stared at it for a long time.... and the gorilla just stared back!
Lunch! We always pack lots of goodies whenever we go anywhere fun! Cheetos! Ruffles! Chocolate Milk! Juices! Donuts! and anything that would qualify as "empty calories"! ;) I love being in charge of the camera (that way I'm not in any pictures I don't want to be... like the one below for example), however, at lunch Jason grabbed the camera and took some unsuspecting shots.
One of David's favorite exhibits was the jeep exhibit....
Although David wanted nothing to do with riding in the stroller for most of the day, Ethan and Audrey couldn't get enough of it!
Kids playing a favorite family game.... "Camera tag"! The goal of this game is to not get caught by the camera! They played this with dad in the family fun area and had a blast!

What absolute fun! Loved all the pictures. Audrey, with straight hair and David with carrots in his mouth and Ethan in the tree are especially fun. Didn't look like David was too frightened of the gorilla. Funny picture of you, though.
What fun pictures. I wish that I could capture pictures like those. I don't have enough patience. I love the picture of David looking at the Jeep. That is so David!! We need to go to the Zoo a lot this summer. Anyone who is interested I have a pass and can get 3 people in free. Yeah!!
what a FUN day! I can't believe how much Ethan looks like Jay in those pictures!! And Audrey and Davie look like they're ready to move out for College...good grief. Were you using the new flash?!
Looks like everyone had a great time at the zoo! The Seattle zoo is so nice. By the way, I would love to come up and spend time with you decorating. Although your house is already decorated nice.
we were at the zoo on Monday too! and we're going to the science center today! Gotta have fun during President's week.

That looks incredibly fun. There is nothing like a family day at the zoo. I too love the camera tag game idea, a great way to let the kids blow off some steam, but get some great pictures too.

What a fun mom you are! I bet the kids loved it. We couldn't decide between the aquarium and zoo on Wednesday. I chose the aquarium or maybe we would have seen you.
You must have a big ol' box somewhere with pictures of your kids...you got some really great shots! I still hope you'll show me how you do all this fun stuff on your blog!
