Skiing Adventures

We went up skiing again with or friends, the Sharps. They got us some really good deals on lift tickets, which included a lesson and rental for the kids. We were worried with the warm weather we've been having that it would rain on us, but instead it was beautiful and clear. It got a bit chilly when the sun went down (since we went night skiing!) but we didn't even notice until we were sitting on the chair lift.

Both Ethan & Audrey did great in their lessons, but it was obvious that Ethan couldn't wait to get out on his own and fly down the mountain. And that's what he did...

Since the kids had an 1 1/2 lesson, we got to go skiing alone for a while which was so much fun!... Brings back memories! Unfortunately it was a bit icey at the top of the mountain, but we didn't really care... it was just fun to be there!

Audrey's first lost tooth!
Another exciting part of our night was when Audrey lost her very first tooth skiing down the mountain. Luckily she felt it come out and was able to spit it into her ski gloves. It would have been quite the tragedy had it fell into the snow!! She was so excited to put it under her pillow for the toothfairy and was pleased in the morning when she found $2 and a little keychain left for her.

Man. The toothfairy pays so much better now than when I was a kid.

Your toothfairy is awesome!

I'm glad you guys were able to use the tickets. If you have any pictures of my kids I'd love to get a copy. You can e-mail me if you'd like.

What fun! How old will David be when he gets to go skiing. I can see him loving every minute of it also.

Yea for Audrey! Glad she caught that tooth before losing it in the snow!

I remember when Joey lost a tooth while Joe and I were on a cruise. My kids were staying at our friends house and he brought it to my girlfriend and dropped it in her kitchen. It went under the stove and they could not find it. He was devastated! She was cleaver, and left a note from the tooth fairy with 2 gold coins for him right next to the stove on the floor! She stated that the tooth fairy is so tiny she just went under the stove and retrieved the tooth. All was well. Funny how much a tooth means to the little ones.

Looks like you all had a good time.

Congratulations Audrey, you look so cute.

Skiing looks fun, something that I will never do, but it still looks like fun.
