Last night was Ethan's second grade music concert. I've decided that the only people who probably enjoy these things are the parents of an only child! This way, they can sit back and relax and dote on their one child and not have to worry about any of their other children whining, pushing strollers into people, and trying to get them to sit still and not scream too loud during the performances. Maybe part of my attitude is because I get to see my kids sing in primary programs and even give talks in primary so it's not as much of a novelty. But as a supportive parent, you gotta go!... so... we went!

I do admit that it was cute seeing Ethan sing with all his heart (he sang way more than he has ever sang in a primary program) and he was quite pleased when we praised him for his amazing talent! Here are a few pix... it's VERY hard to get a decent one in a huge gym with bad lighting.

ok so I loving having feeds right to my outlook. :) I was checking email and got your post right in.
I know what you mean by not being able to sit through concerts. You should see me with ALL of my ACTIVE children at a concert. I get the evil stares. :)
At least you went to support. :)
Ethan looks so serious. It would have been fun to see!
i decided at the last concert the only reason we need to be there is so our kids know we support them. I was there long enough to see his class and whipped Nicholas right out of there before he ruined it for the rest of the mom and dads. ethan looks so cute.
How fun. I remember those and how excited I'd be the day of the concert.
I'm always amazed at how quickly other parents shoot dirty looks for baby noises...it's a SCHOOL for cripes' sake. :)
Looks like fun! I remember the days of concerts for myself & my syblings. Good times, and boring times too. ;) He looks like he is enjoying himself.
