Audrey has had a lot of fun this week at
cheer camp! She signed up with her friend Aubrey and they have been going every morning for two hours. They have learned a few cute cheers, how to do a back hand spring (with assistance, of course), and have been given the thumbs up to shout as loud as they can! She loved it and was sad it was only for one week.
On the last day of camp we all got to go and watch them perform all the new things they learned. They did a few cheers and one great routine to a fun Hannah Montana song! The girls were excited to show off everything they learned!
Here's a sweet picture of Aurey Lou after her last class! One of the coaches made them all a little gift and gave everyone a yummy treat! They were even nice enough to bring some for the siblings!

so cute!!! I'm glad she had fun. I think Aubrey's favorite part was "SPIRIT" -- where they got to do "freestyle" cheers. ;)

Does she know their Grandma used to be a song leader. (In our days -- at my school (Moses Lake High) -- boys were cheerleaders and girls were the songleaders at the high school games! (I think I got chosen because I loved to do the gymnastic moves and got pretty good at it)
That sounds like the perfect summer activity for a little girl like Audrey. How fun! So glad that she enjoyed it. Maybe at the next family reunion she can show off her talent. :)
