Durhamtown... Ride! Crash!... and Burn!

So Jason was gone last week on another business trip... and can you guess where he ended up?... Yep!... in Atlanta again with his brother, Dave. It's an unwritten rule that anytime Jason is in Atlanta for business, they will be taking a day to go riding together!... Dave even bought another bike so that when Jason's in town, he'll have one to use and Jason won't have to rent one. I don't know how David got that one past Julie!!

To make a long story short... this trip ended in a pretty good crash. Dave & Jason were riding together... went off a jump together... and apparently one put on the brakes, the other hit the gas and Jason was about to land right on top of Dave. He was doing everything he could to veer the bike to the right as to not land on his brother. He knicked the back of Dave's bike on his way down and went tumbling. He scratched his arm up pretty bad, but the worst part is his hip. It's black & blue and just as scraped up as his arm is. He looks a little lopsided and has decided he needs to go have it checked out. Oh!... but of course he kept riding....

Well... I'm only half joking when I tell Jason that on his next trip, I'll be putting his bike for sale on Craigslist and buying new living room furniture instead!

I only have one question. Do you have a good life insurance policy on Jason?

Hooray for new furniture! :) Those pictures are GREAT!!!

And we're glad you didn't land on David, Jay, but for a "low-key" rider, you sure seem to get into some good scrapes! ;)

The bike is a very sore subject and probably will be FOREVER! Both David's bikes as well as his music equipment were put on craigslist this morning at about 6:05 am, just 5 minutes after David left for NJ. Thanks for the idea, Becca. I'll be putting new flooring in the kitchen & bathrooms. You know what...our purchases benefit the whole family...we need to purchase expensive stuff that only we can use.

I'm glad that Jason and David get to spend time together but I stress the whole time and worry the phone call I get will be from the hospital. We're praying for a speedy hip recovery and no permanent damage for Jason.

I glad I took the early flight out of Atlanta. Let's do some East Coast riding sometime.

Im embarassed to be asking this since I consider myself a pro at photoshop, but how are you adding those fancy frames? I love the texture.
