Yesterday we celebrated Ethan's birthday by having 8 of his friends over. Since the kids only had a half day on Friday, we first took them all to see the matinee showing of Madagascar Escape 2 Africa. The kids were all hyped up and had a lot of fun. I was a little worried when I arrived down at Kent Station and as soon as I parked the truck, the doors flew open and 8 kids take off at full speed in every direction. It was crazy mahem as they played tag while Jason and I tried to get the tickets ordered and distributed. The kids had a good time watching the very funny show and munching on popcorn.

After the movie we headed back to our place for pizza and Krispy Kreme donuts. Many of you know that Ethan is not much of a cake fan, so we improvised with one of his favorite desserts. The kids were not disappointed. We opened presents and then the boys entertained themselves for a while playing with all the new toys, playing x-box, and playing a fun game of tag in the dark backyard. It was a fun evening!

Fun! Now you know my mother felt whenever she had to take all 8 of us kids any where!

So much fun! I loved playing tag outside in the dark as a kid. And cool idea for a birthday cake, I am not a fan of cake either.
I kid you not, I can SMELL the Krispy Kremes!!
Malcolm had a great time ~ glad Ethan had a fun birthday!!!
Love Krispy Kremes. My kids are not big cake fans either. I always have to remove all the frosting for them on cup cakes too. SIlly kids
It was a great party. Meagan and Blake had so much fun. I think the highlight was the police officer at your front door. "Are you threatening me."
cute movie.
