Just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my boy! Ethan is nine years old today and I can't believe it. I know it is always said, but... "where does the time go?" I am so proud of the boy he has become. He is always so kind to his sister and to his brother. Just yesterday, David fell off the back of the couch and started crying and Ethan jumped down from the kitchen counter and picked him up and sat on the couch with him until he stopped crying. He and Audrey have always gotten along so well and truly love to be together. Every Friday night they take turns having a "sleep-over" in each others' rooms and they stay up super late just playing until we go stomping up the stairs to quiet them down.
Ethan is my very thoughtful and observant kid. He doesn't usually like to be the center of attention and he is always very aware of other's feelings. He has always wanted to do what is right and has always had a mind of his own. He is definately not a follower and he knows what he likes and there's no persuading him otherwise... (believe me, I've tried!) I am very proud of him and I'm so glad he is part of our family! And again... I just LOVE those dimples!

Happy Birthday Ethan! Wow, I can't believe you're 9! Better start planning for what you want to do next year on your "double digit" birthday! It's your first birthday in the double digits and your last until you turn 100!

thanks for the tip! I found the pink door behind a mexican grocery store on Provo. I noticed it a couple of weeks ago and was dreaming about it, I love finding cool old walls and doors. I hate losing so much color when I upload, I will try to bump up the saturation to see what it does. Your pictures look good on-line, how do you get your pictures large on your blog, is it the template??

It's a little sad to see you grow because I remember that you were born just before we moved to GA and the age is a bit of a sad reminder of how long we've lived away from family.
