♪ Rain, rain.. go away! It's summer time and we want to play! ♪

Friday was the last day of school. As all of the kids got off the bus yesterday shortly after noon, there was a lot of screaming, honking, picture taking, and celebrating all around. I can't believe it's finally SUMMER! Although... from the looks of it, it looks more like the first day of school rather than the last. But the rainy weather didn't seem to damper the kids excitement and celebrating one little bit. Ethan is now officially a FoUrTh grader and Audrey is now a sEcOnd grader. Whoo-hoo!

Celebrating in the street...
Modeling dad's old graduation hat...

Audrey preferred to model dad's funny wig!
Laurel celebrating the end of an era! I can't believe Laurel has graduated from Elementary school and will be off to middle school next year. NOOOOO!... say it isn't sooooooo!

After a fun neighborhood lunch party, complete with pizza, chips, fruit, and cupcakes, Audrey headed off to the mall with Melissa and the girls for a free Orange Julius and some cotton candy, but this idea seemed like torture for the boys, so they stayed home for some trampoline time. It didn't even matter that it was soaked!

We were informed earlier in the day that sleepovers is to be an end of school year tradition... so that is how we ended the night! It was an exciting day! Let the summer fun begin!
