Vacation: Boise, Idaho

After our stay at Seaside (see post below) we headed to Boise, Idaho to visit the Halls. This has probably become one of my kids favorite vacation spots. Not only is it beautiful with loads of fun things to do, but the kids just mostly can't wait see their cousins. Ethan and Garrett basically just disappear from the minute we arrive and Audrey is attached to Katie and Madeline's side the entire time. Even Conner and James are so kind to play with David, which he just eats up.

Here are a few HDR pictures Jason took when he went on a short walk with the kids right on Kristin and Allan's street. I love them! Isn't it beautiful there?

And, of course, the kids did some riding in the back field with the cows. They were quite alarmed at first when the cows started chasing them, only to realize that is how Uncle Allan feeds them so they were just looking for food.

Audrey just loved all the cats that the Halls adapoted. I think there were four of them. She spent hours just hunting them all down and playing with them.

James probably changed the most since we visited last. I can't believe he's already going into kindergarten!

We had so much fun hanging out at their beautiful home and letting the kids run all over. We also went to Roaring Springs Water Park, which the kids LOVE, and were also lucky enough to go out on their new boat! Here are a few shots from our boating trip.

Catching some air!.... the girls caught quite a bit of air too.

Kristin and Allan had this cool kids training water ski board and James looked so cute giving it a whirl. The only other one who tried was Audrey, but she didn't get a good start the first time and ended up drinking a few gallons of river water so she was done trying.

David enjoyed his time on the tube until Uncle Allan started getting a little "wild and crazy"... (I use this term loosely, it really wasn't all that bad), but I guess all the bumping around wasn't to David's liking.

Ouch! That's gotta hurt!

But he did pull some of them off!

Thank you Halls for such a great time. Next stop... Rockland, Idaho to visit the farm of the Munk Family. That was SO.MUCH.FUN. Stay tuned...

Wow! What gorgeous pictures! I honestly think you could make Death Valley look pretty with your talent at taking pictures. How fun for all the cousins! I didn't know the Munk's had a farm?

I love the HDR pictures! And Idaho actually looks fun! I'll have to show Kent how poor Allan is holding up. Maybe partner isn't such a bad idea after all!
