Pumpkin patch field trip

Last week David and I went on his preschool field trip to the pumpkin patch. Unfortunately this was our only trip to the pumpkin patch this year! I was a little sad about it, but since Ethan and Audrey haven't said anything about it, they must not have missed it!



I was a little worried as we pulled out of our driveway to go to the pumpkin patch this year. It was raining SO hard that I could barely hear myself talk. It was POURING. But as I jumped on hwy 18, the clouds parted and there were blue skies as far as I could see. It was quite amazing! The patch was a little muddy, but the warm sun made it a fun day. Mrs. Cloud showed the kids all kinds of gourds, and pumpkins, and they went through the corn maze, and even had a little snack out in the middle of the patch. At the end of the field trip, Mrs. Cloud let them each pick out their very own pumpkin and David was SO excited! Now every time we drive by the pumpkin patch off of Hwy 18, David yells... "Hey!... I went there with Mrs. Cloud."
