On Saturday the Dillons invited us to go with them to check out the Mariners Fanfast at Safeco Field. Unfortunately, Jason had to work, but we decided it would be fun to do so we decided to tag along. There were all sorts of fun things to do... we were able to run around the bases, Ethan attempted to catch a pop fly in the outfield, had our faces painted, walked around all the booths to get some freebies, tackled the inflatable obstical course, and were able to sit in the Mariners dugout!
It was a fun way to spend what would have otherwise been a pretty uneventful Saturday. The kids had a fun time and we are so glad the Dillons invited us to join them.

That looks like so much fun. Darn it that Ethan didn't get to catch a ball, that sucks. I bet he was a tiny bit nervous so that's really why he didn't catch it. ;)
Nate is drooling over your pictures and the thought of being down on the Mariner's field! He is already dreaming of having our kids lined up in the dugout for a picture like that! What a fun day, so glad you guys got to go!
What a fun evening! Dad would have enjoyed that!
We're glad you came too...even though, you know, it has been better in previous years.
Did Doug tell you? Last year there were ~8,000 in attendance. This year: 17,000. Explains why it felt so crowded!
