My 5th and 3rd graders! Neither one of them wanted school to start. I guess hanging out with mom all day is just way too much fun. Who wants to give that up?! Although... last night as we were putting all their school supplies in their backpacks, I could tell that they were getting just a little bit excited... not that they would ever admit it.
As I was going through their pictures this morning, I decided to take a trip down memory lane. It was fun seeing how much they've changed and how much they're still the same cute kids!

Audrey and Aubrey now and back on their first day of kindergarten...
And... halfway to the bus stop Audrey started complaining about her shoes hurting. She wore an old pair all day yesterday at Wild Waves and she had a blister on her heel so we had to run back and grab a different pair. We missed the bus so I got treated to the morning drop off. Wasn't I just here doing this yesterday? It sure felt like it!

Good golly they are cute kids!!! The trip down memory lane made me cry (Imaging that!!) Does Davie do PreK this year?
Yeah, the memory pictures made me a little emotional too. How wonderful to have such long-time good friends....something I missed out on as a kid.
