Outside

It's funny how after weeks and weeks of cold, wet drizzle, one beautiful sunny day that doesn't even quite reach 50 degrees can feel like spring time! It was so nice to get outside and it was even better watching the kids play for hours after if feels like we've been living in a cave for the past few months. And I wasn't surprised for a minute when I heard Jason start up the dirt bikes. He took Ethan and Malcolm on a small ride and when he got back he let the girls have a go.

Audrey Lou loves to ride almost as much as Ethan does and she's getting pretty good. She is now the perfect size for the smaller bike and can handle it pretty well.

I laughed when she stopped and smiled and exclaimed that she "just loves the feeling of the wind in her hair when she goes fast." Maybe she'll end up being our biggest dare devil.

Jason trying to convice Aubrey that these bikes are wild and crazy and maybe she shouldn't give it a try. No luck... she was ready to go.

The backyard was a hot spot as the kids jumped, played tag, and played Hunger Games (what?!) on the trampoline. I sure hope they're really not out there trying to fight to the death.

I can only dream that next weekend will be just as nice as this one!
